Well some kind soul decided it was easier to steel the frames and attached mirrors off my 1995 fiat hymer b534.
They also stole wheel trims and chrome hymer badge.
I can get new wheel trims but the other parts are not easy.
I am hoping that somebody may be able to help me with regards to the size and shape of the mirror frames I have a tough idea of shape. I would also need size and shape of the brackets that attach to the van.
If anybody had a picture of frames and brackets with measurements that would be fantastic

A kind friend said he will make me some
I have not used the motorhome for a while due to being unwell but was intending to get away for a break in the summer however until my friend makes me up some new frames I will be static

    Thank you in anticipation

    John.

    Thank you Jim and Vic

It 's so kind of you both.

I think mine would be the same as the ones on Harriet
    Being an older model
That would be brilliant if you could get me some meassurments
I would love to know the distance from the body of the van to the outside of the frame.
It looks about 300mm to me

    Thanks again
    John

Hi John, we are off to the old gal tomorrow lunchtime so will measure up while the boss is making a cuppa and send details, length, dia, etc as soon as poss.

Coincidence really but the last job I did last week was a copy of Jim, stripped off the mirrors & the arms, restored the arms to a decent finish and rebuilt it all.

May just treat her to a new set of mirrors now I know where to buy them.

Glad you seem to be sorted but so sorry that some waste of oxygen did this to your van.

What a shame, total lowlife and presumably a motor home owner. Can I ask where it was parked, if a secure storage then presumably only owners should have access?
    Good luck with replacements. (y)

Hi Paul the van is parked off road on a drive in the village
Next to her car. I'm afraid I may need to put it in storage.
I had it parked at hers so I could easily shoot off when the mood took me.
What saddens me most is to think that more than likely it's a fellow owner.
    Sad world
Maybe they just wanted the mirrors but decided to take the whole frames
    It baffles me.
Thanks to you and all for your support and help

    John

Many thanks that would be great
It's funny I see loads of homers but when you need one you can't find one for love nor money

    That sounds familiar.

    Thanks again

I sent you a PM with the sizes.

If you didn't receive it I can duplicate it here.
