Hello everyone; just joined today. We have just ordered our 1st motor home at the Manchester Show in January (Bailey Approach) which we pick up in March. We looked on the forum for advice etc. before we made our minds up. Really looking forward to getting out and about in the UK and Europe. Along with the other newbies we will no doubt be asking some questions which may seem stupid to the experienced, for which I apologise in advance.
We are based in the Stoke on Trent area.

We pick up our new Bailey Autograph 765 this Friday. I have been excited since ordering in January and finally the long wait is almost over.
Unfortunately (or maybe luckily) I have read the post by Tony (T&G) and he has frightened the pants off me!
He seems to have had more than his fair share of snagging with his Bailey and is understandably very frustrated. Looking at his problems from afar they do appear to be minor, although still not acceptable.
Also, to make matters worse, I have just seen the youtube video of the guy with water ingress into the roof area of his Bailey - wow that is some water ingress.
I take heart from other Bailey owning funsters who report good things about their vans. However, I will be taking Tony's list with me to use as a check aid when I pick up my van.

Good luck with your pick up, don't loose your excitement it's a special time, just thin fore warned is fore armed so you can be just a bit more thorough with your checks, good luck and let us know how you get on.
