Just back from our first trip as motorhomers: Stayed for a night on Loch Naver, and was enjoying an early-morning cuppa in the van when I spotted this little chappie scurrying past amongst the rocks. I did my best impression of the noise of a dying rabbit, and sure enough, his curiosity drew him back. Never fails!

You can weasely tell the difference between a stoat and a weasel 'cos a weasel is stoatally different!

A little help with recognition: The stoat is instantly recognisable by its black-tipped tail, which is retained even when they're in their all-white winter ermine coat. The pine marten is much bigger, compared to the relatively tiny stoat, and its tail is long and bushy.

No doubt it's a Stoat and a really excellent photo indeed:thumb:

Pine Martin, just a tad bigger. The ones that live in our loft are more cat size although much lower to the ground, but still they are nearer 3ft in length vs the Stoat at say 1ft.
