Yo watkins1952 a fine year, Welcome, ignore some of the replys, with the exception of some of the ladies on here most of the funsters are certified loonies.

Yosser will no doubt introduce himself later (he and ShiftZZ are the leaders).

Take your time, look at them all. Come up to the Newbury or Shepton show and meet the gang and browse all the stuff you're going to need.:welcomefunster:...Griff

welcome from us also

a big welcome from us also.

Took us a couple years to find the rig we wanted, once we got it, then we had all the usual jobs to do to make it the way we wanted it.

We set a budget for the purchase price.. Sue want to spend £20k I had in my mind £28K .. you can see from the link below what we got for £28K .. yes it is a yank, but a European size yank with all those extra goodies on them which you do not get in the likes of Hymmers etc.,

We then knew we would have extras to add. We wanted a serious alarm (required by insurance company).. back up camera, entertainment centre, saterlite system,(2 of them) ... an 1500 watt inverter so we could use mains items while away. we changed the TV to a flat screen 26" added a DVD player the list is endless.. but the best thing we added was air suspension on the rear... cost run then to about another £14k but we have it the way we want it. We haul a car on a trailer behind us so we can get off of sites. We have a large dog, a wheelchair so a lot of work went in to finding the right motorhome.. suggest you look long and hard and then have a lot of fun with it.

Who knows we may see you at a motor home fun meet soon... they are held at the big shows.. great people on here..some a bit off the wall, but you will get use to the banter.
