The driver door on my 2014 plate exsis is driving me crazy. When driving the squeek get progressively worse and have in a ply about with it seems to highlight that the plastic is rubbing somewhere. When i press the plastic trim in it stops. I appreciate that this is a somewhat vague description but i thought I'd pop it up here in the hope that someone has experience of this and can offer a fix. Fingers crossed

You could try a bit of silicon spray around the edge of the door. It will probably be better to spray it onto a cloth and wipe it on to avoid getting it on any cloth trim etc. Something like Pledge polish might work too.

Aside from the above (good advice, back to black is a great silicon spray btw), are you certain it is the door trim and not something else such as the fly screen?

Sorry, my bad, I was meaning something generally like a fly screen. I don't have the same MH so I can only go by my own experience. And I was thinking hab door, not drivers!

Could it be the lock insert panel rubbing? I've just looked around ours and the main panel has a gap all around outside so nothing there to rub or the pocket which looks like it's a separate piece.

The only other bit is the plastic covers on the hook latches might rub on the latch

Since 2008 & many years tugging
We had a 2014 Exsis I thought the drivers door was squeaking & rattling, when I found out what it was wasn't the door it was the bed. Cheapskates had only fitted a plastic guide on one side on the operating arms. I bought one for the other side, result sclence.

all sorted...silicon spray did the job. a quick night out at loch fleet near golspie (lovely free camping spot if you're highland bound) resulted in the first quite drive in a yr!
