on and off for the whole of my existance
Well folks, we had such a brilliant time at the November Gothic meet that Weekenders organised, that some wanted to go back again.
So we have arranged with Whitby School to use their school yard, all hard standing and also we have the use of their dining room for the duration of the weekend.
There is the usual water supply and dump facilities but no ehu.
Gennies can be used with the usual consideration for your neighbours.
Was thinking, saturday for lunch a Jacobs Table type affair and then get ready for Whitby for the evening.

Your marshals for this weekend will be myself and lalllymc

The cost is £7 per unit per night.
Post code for the school is: YO21 3EG.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Hi Cheyne and Lynne

Seeing I missed out on the November one can you put Neil and I down for this weekend depending on the dates and our forward commitments.
Sometimes I dont know whether I am coming or going where next year is concerned.

Hi Cheyne and Leanne, another question. How far is the school from the town centre please? Could you give it in relation to the site we were at a couple of weeks ago.... is it nearer than that?

:Smile:Thanks Terry. Sounds perfect then.

The Goth meet was brilliant and the Weekenders did a fab job, but the walk back to the site killed me.... especially as my little dog is very poorly now and we ended up carrying her ... thankfully Dingray was with us and helped. Appreciate your response. Joy

What is the limit on numbers please, Cheyne? If I recall correctly from C&CC information I saw previously the school yard isn't all that large.

I have booked 20 pitches with them but they say they can take 30.
Think we should aim on the 20 though..

See what interest we get..
