Spinflo, Caprice 3 Oven. Problems with Grill (1 Viewer)

Hi,

We have an Autocruise Starburst with the above oven fitted.

Could anyone tell me if the grill burner is supposed to burn all the way across, as ours only burns at either end.

Michael has just 'had a good look' and there are no holes in the middle! hence no gas to that portion of the burner.

Is this a fault in the burner, or is this the way it is manufactured ???

Hi Ginny and Mike if there are no holes then no gas/flames, so I can only assume that is how it is made :thumb: A simple test is to put a slice of bread & toast it On our grill it only manages 2 slices but burns it evenly

Hi Terry, yes that does seem logical, but we have used it when we went to Spain, and it does not grill evenly, you have to keep turning the toast or whatever around.

It just seemed very strange to have a grill with only gas holes for half the burner and not the middle half at that!

Hi again, mine is a Caprice 2040 E full size cooker & I have just been out to look at the burner and as with yours I have 5 holes at either side with probably 4 / 5 holes missing in the middle only thing I suggest is keep turning the toast :thumb:
