Hi All,

Just a few snippets...

the rain in October in Malaga Province was up 40% on last year.

The sun has finally come out after 2 weeks!

Finally, it was reported today that toll road traffic is down 27% since 2007 & is now at 1998 levels, driving companies running the toll system close to bankruptcy!

You wouldnt know it! Here or in Portugal.

And in the Marina Alta area there are 8,000 people who have no income whatever as the unemployment benefits cease after 2 years, no state payments thereafter, chemists are on strike because the Valencia local government hasn't paid them for drugs they have supplied since 16th May.

General strike on the 14th.

Apart from that the weather has been great!

I shouldnt have said that the weather in benidorm was ok...since then its been cloudly with some rain....what I have noticed this last week is the huge queues forming outside all chemists.....I pressume people queuing for their drugs.
