Santander or Bilbao ferry then just drive straight there - hopefully!!! Have to make the most of it as won't have long - this season!
Next season is another story as soon as I retire in Feb 2016!

Got our train booked for the 2nd of Janaury, drive down to friends at Hardanges, stay there a couple of nights, then down through France Sunday, hopefully the roads will be quieter on a Sunday, then through Spain, Portugal arriving at Pedro's in time for the BBQ, cant wait.

Oh no Ray did no one tell you they have changed the BBQ to Monday !! Lol

Travelling solo but travelling for two,rough itinerary Overnight ferry Portsmouth/laHavre 18th nov, then oradour-sur-glane then meander down to beni El Raco for Xmas I think then Spain/Morroco/Portugal and hopefully call into Twin Lakes on way back in May.

Was warned a couple of times by different folk in March ( had no update so may be no longer valid ) that there is a small 'gang' working the Valladolid area, targeting overnighting motorhomes..
It was suggested we do not stop within 20 mile range of the place..

Should have mention it before but forgot... was just reminded of it by the boss

Booking ferry crossing over the weekend, do you think we need to book Villasol in beni prior to departing on the 9th jan???

Villasol do not normally take bookings, unless they are for a long stay.
We will be there before Xmas and will keep you informed of pitch
availability if you wish.

We are on the Portsmouth - Santander 10th January, then staying on a site (can't remember the name) until 3rd Feb...4th Feb Morocco for 23 days ( or longer if we like it ) Back to the UK beginning of April.

Ferry booked 9th jan to Santander

Ferry to Bilbao on 7Jan. Will dawdle down to Algeciras stopping off at Zahora for a week or so to see Funsters. Crossing over to Morocco some time last week in Jan. Will stay until visa expires and get back home sometime in April.

Just a point to bear in mind. The latest Avtec televisions don't have an Analog feature anymore, OK you can tune to a satellite more easily but down in Spain you will need an 8ft diameter dish to receive any decent British picture. The Villa Sol camp site plug in posts incorporate a TV socket that couples to their Satellite system that's tuned into 3 British stations BUT you will need an Anolog facility on your TV. When we go in the new year we'll be taking our older Avtec with us.

Hi we are thinking of heading to spain and then to portugal from mid January to the first week in march. Heading to Beni and then moving around the coast - who else is heading that way? is there an planned rallies, meets like last year?

We are ,in Beni from 18 th dec until 3 rd jean then going down country stoping wherever we fancy after that
