What about the gota fria? Does it always occur, and how bad is it usually? I'd love to go to Spain in the autumn, but this has always put me off.

I´ve lived here (on the Costa Blanca) for 11 years and never experienced a Gota Fria!

We visit Spain in the autumn for the last five years and have stayed as late as 1st December

It's almost every day been warm and one year too hot.

We don't swim but plenty do even in November. There are always plenty sun bathing.

We visit Torre del mar in September and Altea in October
