Spain, here we come! (1 Viewer)

Phew, we've actually booked our ferry to Spain. Going Portsmouth to Santander on 28 November (prefer docking time in Santander to Bilbao and also Pont Aven is a better ferry - so I've been told). Will be heading down to Benicassim for a few days before touring slowly down to Benidorm for Christmas and New Year; Marjal in January and then making our way around the south to Zahora around mid-February. We've got the new Aires book so want to check out some. If anyone has any coastal campsites they can recommend, that would be great.

Have already planned to meet up with a few vans - would be great to see others on our travels, too.

We're are you heading for in Spain,We went to Costa Blanca but weather was bit iffy now in the Costa del Sol weathers better.We are here until the middle of Dec then wife MUST get home for Christmas :Sad:

We are presently on a site Camping Laguna at Torre del Mar if you get this way then save your pennies as there is a huge carpark right outside the gate and eight motorhomes stayed the night there last night.

They have huge amounts of space whereas we are packed like sardines in here, very quiet though and very clean facilities as we have found on all Spanish sites.

Hey there was lots of parking space right on the beach near to Mazarron.

Maybe you'd like Camping Los Pinos in Denia. We are usually there this time of year but stayed home this time. Nice, small family-run site on a lovely stretch of coast.
If you do go there say "Hi" to Linda and Brian (Hymer) and Gus and Carol (caravan):Blush:
