We're heading out Plymouth/Santander Feb '17 and would like to plan our route. Can anyone help with routes, places and sites that are worth visiting and those places etc best to avoid. We have 8 weeks to play with and would like some sun. Thank you x

The ACSI camping card is very useful for off-peak travelling: -

We use Google Maps to plan our route. If you right-click on a place on the map of your journey, you can 'search nearby' for museums etc.

We also use Trip Advisor as that will show you 'Things to Do' in the cities/towns that you want to visit.

For almost guaranteed sun you need to be south of Valencia and near, if not on, the coast. Alicante, Murcia and Almeria regions are generally the driest in winter, but if it's a good winter further south and into Portugal can be sunny also.

As above, but we've also had sun in Extremadura. Nice site in Monfrague NP and you can do a guided tour to see the vultures and if you're lucky a pair of eagles.

But it depends what you're interested in doing.
