Went to Southport today with Sandra to see Norman.

The 24th Oct meet is the start of the Halloween Event at the Pleasureland.
If you are bringing children well worth a peep on the website

Parking cost is £8 per night. Menu will be on here on Wed.

At the moment I have 24 units down and I have put you all down for dinner making
a total of 49.( if you do not want dinner please let me know)
I can only have another 6 for the dinner
but I will make a reserve list for food.

This will give you a total of 55 and 25 for RVOC

The same weekend 25 years ago we were spending a wet & windy honeymoon on the Grand Union canal. So 25 years on we are planning to spend it on a wet & windy car park! Will we ever learn!

Remind me to keep my mouth shut if it does rain. 25 years ago I was standing at the tiller in steady rain. We looked at each other & laughed. "Never mind" I said " it could be worse". With that it absolutely threw it down. The expression has passed into family folk lore & I'm banned from ever repeating it.

The above menu Mon-Thus and Sun is £14-95
On a Fri & Sat its £16-95.
BUT
We have done the deal and got it for £12-50 plus a free glass of wine or soft drink.

The people that went to the Restaurant last time will let you know what it was like.

And the meal last time was absolutely magic. Considering we all arrived at the same time and virtually took over the restaurant they managed to get everybody seated, wined and dined - without too much drama.

I think that is a great idea and did say the same to Sandra today.
We do have a bit of a surprise at the dinner but my lips are sealed.

RVOC know the surprise was that we also have a DJ for the evening
So lips unsealed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next thing will be payments (come back Mo all is forgiven)
I am going to Stars and Stripes and also Lincoln so will post payment details in the next day or so.
