We will be taking the ferry from Southampton in the near future and wondered if there is a convenient place nearby to stay overnight in order to take an early ferry. Maybe somewhere similar to Marine Parade at Dover.
Any suggestions welcome

Portsmouth Truck Stop
Walton road
Farlington

We stayed there in July it's handy for the ferry port about 2 miles away
It's secure with 24 hour guard and cameras and good cafe/bar for £11 a night easy to get to as well :thumb:

Sorry I don`t know. I tried Google Earth and found the Quays car park but it is not the West Quays Shopping Centre. Hope someone on the forum can help

Hi there is Mayflower Park which is close to West Quay, there are gates there and not sure if these are closed at night but it has parking meters and is handy for the Red Funnel IOW Ferries as it shares the same entrance off the main road.

Yes it's the Red Funnel ferry that we'll be taking so I'll take a look at that one. Thanks.
