I can remember years ago when I lived in Bristol seeing a guy wearing a crash helmet driving 'naked' commercial vehicle chassis. Just a seat, a steering wheel and an engine

As many of the Bristol bus chassis had bodywork by Eastern Coachworks of Lowestoft that was quite a drive wearing thick gloves and a helmet. I remember seeing chassis only pass by Aunt's house on the A17 in south Lincs.
