A few years
Soul Mate, Lost mine last Sunday my lovely wife Carol passed away peacefully at the young age of 62. The word devastated doesn't do justice how I feel I also can't put into words what Carol/we went through this last 14months but what I would like to do is praise everyone that helped us along the way, Mcmillan nurses, district nurses, carers the people at the oncology centre and the wonderful help we got from the hospice plus all of you people that volunteer, I can't thank you enough.
Dave xx
And thanks to you that have pm'd me and said a prayer x

My deepest sympathy busman, treasure all the memories that you have and hopefully and eventually it will help you come to terms with your loss. At least she will be at peace now.

I am so so sad to hear of your tragic loss Dave - I'm sure there'll be good days and bad days to come so if you want to cry then do it, and if you want to laugh then do it.
Carol is at peace now with no pain and knows you were there for her till the very end.......you could do no more.
Stay strong Dave, treasure all those wonderful memories of your time together and when you're ready try to live your life in a way that Carol would have wanted.
