Thanks everyone unfortunatelly melenoma is very hard to beat and really terminal a matter of time. All depending how I respond to chemo etc...unluckily my tumor does not have the Brack gene which 50% of people have and can be targeted with certain combinations of drugs and has spread to lungs and bone but not badly yet. It's strange how well I feel and I'm in very good humour. And that line in Prince song sign of the times " a man ain't truly happy till his truly dying" kinda makes sense to me in a strange way to be honest! As you can plan your end hopefully giving family and loved ones time to adjust.....
I am a fighter and trying everything.
Ordered an expensive juicer and trying an organic fruit/veg regime as it's supposed to fight cancer? Cancer feeds off your protein and if no protein destroys your muscle. Once I get stabablised on dialaysis I will be able to have stronger combinations of chemo.
So....we live in hope guys!
We have enough room to accomodation a 7 maybe 7.5 metre van on our rear hardstanding. Fancy a weekend in London your welcome

Hi Mr Judge Mental,
So sorry to hear that you are not well but good news that you are feeling feisty. We haven't met but you made helpful comments about The Kittens {now Big Cats } when I posted, and I enjoy reading your posts
I am not great at the old 'e' but adding a cut 'n' paste link
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/04/18/deadly-tumours-destroyed-by-radical-new-therapy/
which you may already know about- it is a combination new therapy for melanoma hailed by several medics/newspapers/New Scientist as a major breakthrough. Ask your doctor about it- trust your own judgement about your own body and health.
Much love and a wellness wish. Kirsten

Having spent the last five hours driving up to NW Scotland in what are often called "interesting conditions" I thought I could better any tales of drifts in Sarf London, have to say you took the wind out of my sails with posts contents.
It seems somewhat odd offering support and advice to someone you only have a virtual friendship with, although I was looking forward to meeting you at some point as I see you as a kindred spirit with a social conscience and a big heart, key ingredients for any mate of mine. I'm not a religious person so I can't say you'll be in my prayers, but you will be in my thoughts and I hope that you can beat this bastard.
You're certainly adopting the right mindset, remaining positive and aware of the importance of family, although I would suggest you should be partying like it's 1999 from his highness's repertoire, rather than the thoughtful ones.
All the best

just keep the red flag flying high. Consience intact and don't let the barstards drive you down!
Thanks Pat for your kind words

Can't smoke it ?!?! That's outrageous girl!Oh Eddie. So sorry to hear the news ... chemo is a bummer but mark each session off to keep you going to that last session..you can do it. Don't do prayers as such but great believer in the inner strength we all have and will think of you in meditation... You know what you are up against and I know you will show it what a rival you are.
Not going into detail but I too recently looked at the canabis treatment. Two things: it makes certain cancers grow faster..and also it works out about four thousand pounds for nine weeks for the dose for breast cancer... You cannot in this country get it on NHS but America does recognise it as a treatment. It is't just the canabis you smoke.
I mean it when I say miracles do happen and our inner strength can do wonders. Ask if there are any trials taking place .. well worth considering. Also please be open minded if they offer any support by way of alternatives .. meditation for example. Oh dear .. I am sorry I am lecturing... ..it is because I care and want you to get through the treatment quickly and come back with good news.
Sending you and your family a huge hug.
