Just returned from a weekend in Glastonbury where the carnival was going on. What an amazing event! In fact I really can't find words to discribe the floats, 40-60 feet long, blazing with lights - just the most amazing sight. Will go again next year for sure. The weekend was made even better by wonderful walks in stunning countryside and staying at the Old Oaks Park just a mile or so outside Glastonbury - one of the nicest sites we have stayed at, wonderful views, excellent facilities and lovley staff.
