.......a bit less well off than before you bought it. I've got a similar Musto jacket (sailing prize) that has been utterly brilliant. Worth paying a bit more for quality (even though I didn't....)

I didn't pay it either!
Who the hell would pay £220 for a jacket like that?
It does work well and feel good but so would a £20 fleece and waterproof from Tesco.
We won it at our local climbing centre for a £2 raffle ticket (y)

The Musto and Gul fleeces that I have (both won) have outlasted anything else though.

It is beautifully well made and the fabrics are obviously expensive but I'm scared to wear it.
I might just put it on eBay. :)

Anyway, back to those freeloading tossers...
Shouldn't be allowed, I say

Real motorhomers wear outdoor activity wear..

Mountain Warehouse ..

the discerning shop in Cotswold Outdoors

the rich ... Rohan .. can't buy better

wouldn't be seen dead in Sports Direct.. it's chavland heaven.. .. ( I drop Chaz at the door )

Don't rate Rohan very highly at all. Mountain Warehouse is OK for the money though.

I think Salomon is about the best around at the moment although I've got some old Berghaus kit that knocks spots off of anything you can get today and a Helly Hansen sailing jacket, about 20 years old, that knocks spots off of that.

No different from the unelected (but appointed) chief execs in private industry really :)
Private industry has no pretensions of democracy outside of shareholders, whereas Local Authorities do. I fail to see the correlation, frankly

Anyway, off topic and I'm on the road.

I sometimes wear a flat cap when driving, no idea why

we've just come back from Germany , amazed how many arrived after the man had been around for the money, or paid for no hookup and 1 hour later out came the leccy lead, and none of these were french, water was 50c for 100 litres at 1 stell Platz and a dutch guy drove off saying it was to expensive.

We stayed at a couple in Germany that had coin operated meters for the electric. I thought that was a pretty good idea.

Just Recently, so I've been told, there was someone parked up in a layby in the middle of our village. The layby is there for the householders who hav'nt off road parking. The residents moaned about it , a local Counsellor went down and moved him/them on.

Did notice the van as I was passing, however, don't know if the above is true or just village gossip, I heard about it through;

"You got a camper hav'nt you- - - - - - etc etc " at the local shop
