Hi -planning to install two 120 watt solar panels, a 20 A MPPT controller, a 350 W inverter connected to two 110 ah batteries.
The batteries will be within 1 metre of controller and the inverter.
Can you please advise the optimum cable sizes from controller to battery and battery to inverter and also the inline fuse/s size required?
Thank you again
Ian

I would say battery to controller....min 4mm....the fly leads from the panels are generally 4mm

battery to inverter.....16mm.
maybe overkill but saves changing it when you upgrade the inverter.

hi ian, I would say you would be fine with 4 to 6 mmsq from cont to batt and say 10mmsq to inverter but the bigger the better.. fuse say 15 to 20 amp.. but im sure you will get better advice from someone who does a bit of this sort of work.
