If like me, you very rarely go on hook up - 2 batteries and solar panels help - and get fed up of your radio dying on your, fear not help is at hand. I have just bought one of these Solar Radio. I bought mine off of Ebay for £54 and after charging for 24 hours, has sat on the window cill at home, playing LBC very happily for a couple of hours in the morning before I go to work. The radio charges its self during the day. I will take it to Newbury this weekend and see how it does "In the field". first impressions are very favourable. Oh and it works abroad as well because it has L band.
