Hi all,
 Has anyone tried making/using a solar cooker (NO FUEL COSTS), especially on the continent where there is more sun. They are a bit 'Blue Peterish' although you can buy kits on the net - I think a DIY one would be more of a challenge though.
Apparently they were developed for 3rd World countries and, depending on how sunny it is, they can reach temperatures of 200c.
If you're interested either do a web search for solar cooking or try www.solarcooking.org (which has alot of useful info and other links). I love gadgets and really must give this a try sometime! :thumb:
Happy travelling, GrandmaLiz
