Advice needed please...our new van has a single 150w Solar Panel factory fitted which is connected to a CBE PRS 240 Controller...looking at the spec. of the controller its a 240w across 2 panels (120w max. each) but we have 1 x 150w connected on 1 input...Looks like the controller is too small to me or am I missing something?...

I think you could just run a short wire from each terminal connected to the panel to the unused terminals. So the 150W is shared between them.
But if you are feeling flush I suggest replace the controller with an MPPT one as I don't think the one you have is. A Victron 75/15 would be perfect.

I would think that you would be OK with 1x150 watt but I would not be tempted to add a second, I have not seen before two sets of contacts for two separate panels.

That's not a bad suggestion (y)

Unless you go sufficiently far South to reach the tropics the sun will always be at an angle to a panel mounted flat on the roof of a MH so it's output will never reach the output on the label. I doubt you will ever get more than 120W from your panel so all is well. Also all after market controllers are rated by the current to the battery, my guess is that only when you have a second 150W panel on the other terminals AND you are south of the Med, will you possibly have a problem.
