Don't look it don't go without it so fill up.

I find putting it on card helps, as you pay for it at the end of the month with loads of other things and havn't a clue what you spent on fuel, or anything else come to that. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

All the best Rick

Volatile gasoline prices could hamper the recreational vehicle industry's attempts to recover from a deep downturn caused by the recession because sales of the big ticket items are so dependent on consumer confidence, industry executives and analysts say.

"High fuel prices and rapid fluctuation of fuel prices are not good for consumer confidence," said Mark Bowersox, Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council executive director. "When you see fuel go up 10 or 15 cents a week or 50 cents in six weeks, that's a concern."At the pump, gas prices averaged $3.54 on Friday

If my conversion is correct that's 93.6c / 58p per liter..

But I might do better with a VW Buttons!

Downside of living in the stockbroker belt Bob. What you need is a local Asda it works wonders with the low area fuel price.:thumb:

It is Sainsburys or Tesco's in this area... mind you Buttons I expect your VW with the hamster running around in side the fuel pump would do more miles than my 6.8 ltr V10 petrol engine:Blush:

I was in Cheltenham last Friday - Sainsbury's prices - 127.9 for petrol and 130.9 for diesel. How come they can do it so much cheaper, no sign of any other competition nearby.

On Sunday night the local Shell garage on the A21 was 127.9p on Monday morning it was 130.9 and in the evening it had gone up again to 131.9 that is an increase of 4p per ltr in less than 24 hours... crooks.

I was in a motorway service station last weekend and some idiot was berating the staff in the garage about the cost of fuel.

His closing rant was "if you reduced the price you would get more passing trade"

Err, M1 services, passing trade ......

RMI Petrol says many forecourts make just 2p a litre on fuel and rely more on selling convenience food, snacks and ciggies.
Around 500 petrol stations already close every year. In 1990 the UK had 20,000 forecourts but this had slumped to just 8,850 by the end of 2009.

I would hardly call then crooks making just 2 to 5p per liter .. if it was so lucrative why are so many closing ?
Clearly they can't compete with the supermarkets (who sell at cost or less ) and make a profit.

The same thing has happened to the independent high street retailers.. and we are all to blame..
As it wasn't being supported our local filling station closed .. so we have a 26ml round trip to fill up..
