The hard way it seems to me.

Why have people guessing the reserve, why not declare it and get some serious bidding.

Fresh out of Solex am afraid but do have a very nice Spartamet, going for a song. Also a lovely Dutch Union gents bike. Its a beutifull touring bike but you need very long legs to ride it. Its huge.

Thats why its called an auction. I have no doubt it will make reserve Brian. If it doesn't it will just go back in the shed till next spring and will take it up to Norway and sell it there for twice the price. Its also very desirable in Germany now because of its age,its coming into the oldtimer tax bracket.

No reason why not, but so far people are just probing a bit at a time, wasting their time and yours and the real bidding hasn't started.

Nothing like a bit of harsh pruning for the winter John.

Just making way for new growth for next spring.....I feel a Bluebird Wanderlodge in the air. Always fancied one and lets face it as RR says am fast becoming an old timer myself. The only problem is the family will have to have a whip-round when the inevitable happens.

Dont get to excited Lugnut, it would be a pre 89 with the Cummins which is rarer than hens teeth. Plenty of Detroits and Cats but am a Cummins lover so it has to be what I want. The build quality is second only to the Newell and I dont like the shape of them.
