Is sunny now but it's been raining and cold most of the night and there's snow on the mountains I can see from our pitch. Didn't expect that!

Haha, the first time I see snow on Levante beach I will eat JJs underwear. Of course there is a little snow on the surrounding mountains. Thats why the mountains are there, to protect Benidorm from bad weather.

Nice and warm here in sunny Tavira, sat outside, doors open on van.......not had any rain for ages but I suspect the Portuguese won't be smiling, the Barragem do Arade was very low when we were there a few weeks ago.

Blimey Dave that's a brave statement it's snowing in Javea and friends say it's now snowing in Guardamar, last time it snowed here was 1983 and as they say never say never . If you have snow on Levante beach book me a front row seats. Bob.

BTW, it's hailstones not snow so no need for the underpants - ------------ - yet.

This must have a knock on effect to many of the crops there, for example the almonds must be in bud by now. Here in the UK imported courgettes are now worth their weight in gold according to an item on the news today. All due to the cold weather in southern Europe.
