We are shortly off to Germany and understand that we need winter tyres and snow chains.

I have ordered the tyres but does anybody have snow chains and if so do I need specific ones for the MH? A lot of the snow chain sites are confusing and I dont want to buy anything that is not fit for purpose so some help would be great.

BTW we are hoping not to have to use them but I understand that they are a legal requirement.

And yest we will try them out before the snow is 2ft deep:RollEyes::RollEyes:

Snow chains are not a legal requirement for Germany, whether or not you will require them depends more on where in Germany you are thinking of visiting and when, the following link gives full imformation.
