just got the smoker out going to smoke some venison

Good man ! Had the weber on 3 times in the last week, got up this morning to snow on the fell tops and a nip in the air
Weber a bit posh for me home made from one of them ball BBQ and a old stainless steel waste bin
Just herd what could only be described as a dull thud found lid off smoker at bottom of the garden
Venison, that's a bit expensive Bill.
Traveller came to the door last week offering me two of the things for £30 but I thought it was too deer.
i don't buy it run it over
Not sure if it needs more air or less, but sounds like there was a build up of gases in the smoker and it suddenly ignited.
Possibly let a bit more air into it and improve top ventilation?
I'm assuming of course the venison is actually dead and the lid wasn't kicked off.
Well, I've smoked some funny things in my time, but a deer .... that must use some huge fag papers.
