I run a PVC camper with a side sliding door and am very aware how much pleasure this can give other campers at various times of day and night.
Fortunately my Toyota base door slides very quietly (well insulated with nvh stuff) and it's only that final click of the door trailing edge that is a bit noisy. Easy to quietly push from the outside but impossible from the inside........ until now.
Doorboad off, hole drilled in inner door shell, bolt fitted, doorboad replaced, short length of fabric dog lead attached to bolt. Job done. Can now achieve that final click from the inside without invoking the wrath of the neighbours.
Now working on a supply of anti sog stoppers ready for the coming season and those soggers (not doggers), who park too close.
