I cannot believe how difficult it is to find a single rectangular lightweight sleeping bag (for summer) which is lined with cotton. I cannot bear polyester next to me, and might shock myself with it as I carry so much static. Does anyone know where I can find one? Go Outdoors was a waste of time, the best they can do is a polycotton lining which is only 5% cotton - not good enough!

I need to see it, so the ones I found on the web are not suitable, and most are mail order only or so far away it would be a major expedition. Unfortunately the one I have been using for the past 50 years is on its last legs now and definitely needs replacing!

Try Army type suppliers.. Specifically ones that carry ex East German kit.. Warm as toast in winter and cool as a cool thing in summer

For our MH beds, I have encased single feather / down duvets in cotton single duvet covers. To sleep in underneath these I use home made cotton sleeping bag liners, wider than standard sleeping bag, each, open at top and down one side. One of them made from old double duvet cover that was lovely cotton but had got too thin at the top edge. When travelling, it is easy to wash the liners out on a sunny day. I like white bedcovers, so all white and matching pillowcases.

I did the same for my girls to use in the MH as they found sleeping bags too restrictive. Also when hot they turned and lay on it with a cotton cover then.

Big fan of wool in our household. Great regulator of body temp. And different weights to boot. But it's duvets for us not sleeping bags. Tried the duvalay stuff, butt hate them!

I think most camping shops would have them. The outwell site gives distributors for them depending upon where you are.

We like our duvalays, bought at Manchester show in January so only used in winter conditions,we find they keep us warm even with no heat on but wonder if they maybe too warm for summer use.
