Im a newgie
Hi everyone,
RE- 2001 hymer B584, kitchen skylight.
I closed the skylight and heard the spring loaded component break, I tried super glue which seemed fine untill I tried to get the pin through it, there seems quite a bit of tention on the spring, Im of the opinion that its probably best to buy a new component and take the whole thing off to have better access and control over the spring and pin?? I dont want to break any more of it though, is it easy enough to remove the whole top? and can I buy that single component ? or should i buy the whole thing, I see that the arms are in incomplete bush which appears you could press them over the main pins but I didnt want to risk it, they look a bit brittle or am I just being a overcautious.

It as probably gone brittle with age I would bite the bullet and replace
Complete job I don't think you can buy just the top piece.
