We have recently changed our van
The last one I fitted a ski box onto the cycle rack on the back.
However our new van has ample storage inside.
We have a large garage and a full width locker within the double floor
I am thinking of putting the skis in the full width locker.
However ski's are pretty wet and icy at the end of a day
even after brushing down. I generally leave them in the sun to dry but as skiers know that's not always possible. it didn't matter if the ski's were wet when I stuck them in the ski box But I am keen not to get water in the locker as it runs everywhere. Anyone got any good storage ideas for ski's

Is this just for overnight storage, or for the drive home?

Hair dryer?

My Kneissel ski bag would hold water if stored zip up.

Roof rack?

In the shower?

Hi all
Yep Jon and shell a duplicate thread just hoping to catch as many replies as I could.

Hi guys
The ski's are going to go either in the locker or the garage.
I was after ideas as to stopping water going everywhere or any other neat or cool storage solutions.
I saw a french guy who had rain guttering inside the garage and he laid his skis in that and the water dripped into a bucket.

Sometimes, the simplest ideas can be the best!

Will we see them for sale in Motorhome shops soon? :)

Like the idea of the guttering and the bucket, or standing them in the shower
We're thinking of taking the van skiing, any tips of places to go or keeping warm in the van would be good.

Like you the issue of water is a pain. If we can't store the skis in a locker room on a campsite, we plan to lay them across the external bike rack locked on with Ski locks and wrapped with the external alarm cable.

When traveling we put them in ski bag and store them across the back of the garage.
