Enjoying a glass of prosecco in our new van at last!

Didn't take you long to work out the essentials.

As a matter of interest, Proseco is a town near Triest, my advice is visit end of May.

Great, we felt the same when we picked ours up a couple weeks ago.

Planning first trip yet?

Cant believe you had the audacity to post in the Beginners section.

You posted after your first glass of Prosecco. You are experienced enough to know that wine is the staple diet. move into "Full timers"

Cheers

Off skiing in van just over two weeks time!

Hitting the manuals as we speak.

Even loved the short walk to the toilet at 7am!

Hi Rob,

Im getting a Chausson 624 in a couple of weeks and the plan is to take it down to the Alps to do some skiing, next Feb/March.
Its also on a ducato base. Where did you get your full length cover?

@suavecarve , I've noticed wine seems to be the tipple for most motorhomers. What am I going to do?, I'm a john smiths smooth man.

Mickey.

Chris, bought a Fiamma xxl thermoglas two piece cover on eBay- first bit covers windscreen & top of bonnet, second bit velcros on & goes to floor & can be pegged. Seems very decent as I got it a little cheaper due to damaged box but still brand new.

Doesn't end there- snow tyres, chains, oil filled radiator, snow Shovel etc etc etc! Also had solar, gaslow & alarms fitted!

Looked at the 624 & it seems a really versatile layout with garage though we started off a little smaller due to length of drive. Hope you enjoy it as much as we are enjoying ours!

I hope that after several years on the road that you still feel the same excitement, cosyness and absolute joy of being a campervan/motorhome owner - we do and as you can tell so many more funsters on here still nourish the enthusiasm ...we feel very lucky....enjoy w2f
