Sites near A1 (1 Viewer)

We are going to Derwent Water Sailing Club in a couple of weeks and we want to break the journey so thought we might stop off somewhere near Wetherby overnight. Can any Funster recommend a site either CL or CS that would be convenient to get to A19 next morning.

Hi Dalek,

A little bit further up from Wetherby is the CC site at Thirsk, just 5 minutes off the A19.

Situated on the edge of the town at the racecouse, it's just a very short walk in to the town if you fancy a pint or a bite to eat in the evening.

And then not to far to head to Derwent Water in the morning.
