    hi all,
We are first timers heading for France early next month.
We have booked our first week near Dinard(St Malo crossing)and intend to visit in this area before travelling around Brittany then moving up to Normandy early December and return for Christmas.
We have been checking ACSI and are struggling to find somewhere especially in Normandy on our way back, are we missing something?
    All "help" appreciated

As rod_vw has indicated, you were missing the aires! Also worth looking at wilding spots, of which there are some superb ones alongside inland waterways in Brittany, as well as around the coast. Probably not worth looking at France Passion this time, given the timeframe.
In Ille et Vilaine, consider the aires at Tinténiac and Fougères. For an excellent selection of wilding spots throughout France, consider wildcamping.co.uk (subscription required to access the POIs).
