This forum site, has for the last 7 days, been VERY slow to load on all 3 of my computers and my iPad. I have cleared cache, reset iPad but to no avail. I messaged Jim last Monday but have not so far received a reply.

So, am I the only one and if so could any of you help with a suggestion.

I should say that MHF is the only site that is slow and hard to load. It sometimes says it is a Java problem on the server.

My thanks if you can suggest an improvement.

Probably a silly question, but have you tried restarting your router?

Have done that, strange because it's only this site. Can take forever to load and sometimes it just times out.

And trying to reply to this, I have had a banner come up saying "error".

Also why does it sometimes say, JavaScript problem on server?

    I dunno :)

Same on my iPad using Safari but if I switch to Opera no problem. A lot of things changed with Safari when we had the last update.
It will probably change again when the latest IOS is released..

I downloaded Opera, it's just the same I am afraid. Oh well, if you guys cannot suggest a fix ( not a complaint) I'm stuffed, cannot carry on like this, it takes forever to open any post on forum.

I just cannot understand why it is just this site.

Thank you all for the suggestions. :)

It has taken over 2 minutes to load your message, and 3 attempts to get your message as a quote, just to say been there done that :)

All the browsers that I have tried are slow to load, all other sites load in the blink of an eye.

    I am doomed I tell you.....doomed :)

I will try to solve the problem for the rest of the day but after that I will have to leave the forum for a while, otherwise I will take a hammer to my computers :)

Thank again for all your suggestions.

This message will take 2 attempts and getting on for a minute to load if the past experiences are anything to go by :)

Not sure where you live but I went to Liverpool to the Apple shop when I had some problems with my iPad. Very helpful bunch and sorted the problem out within minutes.

Thanks @JohnH but it's not just my iPad, 3 computers as well.

Not to worry, if it cannot be fixed I will just have to go without. :-(

With their permission log on to next door's wifi and try reloading MotorhomeFun. If it works then it is your router or ISP at fault. Or try McD's.

Take the cable from modem/router and blow down it to clear any blockages :)
