The caravan club have a brilliant site, I think it's called North Ledaig. It is just outside Oban but there is a bus stop opposite the entrance if you want to go into town. The views are fabulous and the site runs straight onto the beach. If you get a sea front pitch just be aware that the wind can whip up really fast so don't leave awnings out or canopies if you go out.

It is in the middle of nowhere though! The views are brilliant but after walking up and down the beach that's about it. Not knocking the place but I would only stay a night or two there - as we did. :)

Another vote for Ledaig. 5 miles or do in to Oban. 2 mile walk along the beach then stop off at the hotel for a beer or food or both (y)
