Need to spend two nights (2nd and 3rd May) near Herne Bay in Kent before heading to tunnel

I am struggling to find any sites, the only one that accepts MH`s I have found is between HB and Witstable but has no vacancies.

Thanks

Thanks, Seaview has no vacancies and ideally we would like to be a bit closer to Herne Bay than the others, if at all possible.

Hi
Did you ring Sea View? They are the nearest campsite to Herne a Bay that I know of. Unless they are restricting grass parking I have never known them to be unable to get someone on. They do only have about 12 hard standing pitches. But have a whole field with electric hook ups.

Not a site but I reckon you would be ok to park for a couple of days at Hampton ( I think that is what it's called ) which is right next to Herne Bay. I used to go jet skiing there and there was plenty of places to park up. It might have changed in the last few years though.

We parked the van up here for a couple of nights while we visited family in Herne Village. It seemed a nice quiet site. It is on the Herne/Caterbury road.

So efficient Jim. I did realise after I'd posted that the name, Braggs Lane Farm, might have been useful. ::bigsmile:

Thanks for the replies.

Sorry, should have mentioned the dog. Not allowed at Braggs Lane unfortunately.

Seaview cannot do the second night.

Looks like we will decide to stop on the way back instead at the end of June, should be less busy than a BH weekend.

Thanks again.
