Thinking of visiting Whitby in September.

Perhaps three or four nights at a site nearby.

Looking for recommendations for a site to suit.

Our priorities/wish list:

Walking distance (20 mins) of centre
Showers/hot water
EHU
Dog friendly

Hi, Hoggath's Farm right at the east end of the High Level Bridge, its the entrance to Caedeman School, From Scarbough cross the Whitby high level Bridge as you come off the Bridge you will see a high level foot crossing, you need to be LEFT NOW. You will see the large Farm sign in front of you on the wall, park up at the gate and the house is on your right.
Lovely view down to the Habour and a short cut to the town over the high level crossing. I will try and find you the phone number so you can book your pitch. We have been using this site for 20 yrs, cracking little spot.
Toilets, Water and Hook-up if you need them.
Best Regards Mac

Since April 1846 but have always camped.
Whitby holiday park will cover all your needs. It's a pleasant 25 minute walk along the cliff into town. Whitby has gone upmarket over the last few years and is much improved. The site at Sandsend overlooks the golf course and has a new toilet block this year (it was needed) it takes the same amount of time to walk into town, but has the option to walk into Sandsend which is quite nice in itself.
