Site - Castellon (1 Viewer)

Has any one stayed at Didota Camp site listed in ACSI book at Oropesa del Mar. We are thinking of going there in next few days looks okay, but wondering how far from local village, supermarkets etc. The site states 1/2 Kilometre, but would be interested to hear funsters opinion. Only 1 review in English which stated great.

The supermarket is a short walk away, the site is on a pebbly beach, and has a free internet room, but is a little old fashioned. We enjoyed it for a few days, and ACSI makes it affordable. There are some trees on the site, but we found a pitch that had enough sunshine. The town has some beautiful mosaic work and fantastic gardens on the beachside. Well worth a visit. Never stopped there but have looked twice over the last few years, the site seems OK next to pebble beach but also next to the huge (not quite finished) Marina D'Or development which lies between the site and Oropesa which, in my opinion is like Benicassim.

The Mercadona supermarket is on the edge of the development. There are two other sites very close that are open all year Torre de Sal 1 & 2.

Best to judge for yourselves, there are plenty of other sites in the area if you do not like it.

Hi slverdreamers we are on site there at the moment,been here just over a week.Great site if you have a bike as great cycling area,converted railway track right through to Benicassim and beyond.Tall pinetrees on site but still plenty of sunshine,facilities clean and always hot showers,free wifi all over site.Bar/restaurant on site but only open 8 till 8. Supermarket about 10 min walk,no construction in the area, an early to bed early to rise site.
