noticed today few drops of water under stainless steel sink on close investigation what look like three or four minute rust marks must be pinholes :Doh:rest of the sink in perfect order. Any suggestion on repair?

Clean it off thoroughly and apply a waterproof patch over the pin holes although if its stainless there would not be rust.

Make sure its not from the drain being lose

some grades of stainless can rust. OK first put the plug in and fill the sink with water, then have a look to see where any leaks come from. Of course it could just be condensation dripping off of the bowl. check it out. if it is Pin holes then a patch put on with epoxy putty would sort it.

there is a special repair tape on a roll available, looks a bit like flashband as used on roofs but its not bitumen based. cant think of the name. alternatives are gaffa tape or woven clear waterproof tape. cost about £5 a roll

clean and dry the area and stick tape over area an press on
