Well the eclipse is over, the cruise ships are leaving and it's raining, to cap it all there's only rugby on the tv :( so I remembered the sewing machine. Not in the loft, which is a good thing as it is darn cold up there and there's a few old corroded clocks, but stored in a landing cupboard.

Not a Singer, maybe, no name at all on it not even evidence of a manufacturers plate missing anywhere. It's been here at least since the end of WW2 if FIL brought it home but more likely even further back on MIL's side of the family, there's things in the loft given to her in the 20's and earlier apart from that we know nothing.

Any clues Jim?
