well worth getting.

internal for summer as they are reflective and keep the suns heat out.
external for winter as they are insulated so keep warmth in.

you may find they (internal) cause some condensation though.

internal ones are ideal if you wildcamp, you never know when you may have to decamp quickly and dont have time, or fear for your personal safety, to remove external ones

Re: Silver Screens

Thoroughly recommend these exterior screens. On my recent ski trip it was down to minus 23 outside + 23 inside and no condensation. The m/h next to me had just got the standard pull round screens and I could see the condensation running down.

So yes they are worth it , whilst a tad expensive .

External every time, kill condensation dead, help keep heat in and make cab warmer, reflect suns heat in hot weather helping keep cab cool. Fitted in less than a minute, most come with a lightweight waterproof bag which is great for when they are to put away when wet.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

We wouldn't be without them, especially from October through to April.

Welshcowboy, you'll need them at Newark, if the current weather forecast for the next few weeks is accurate. :winky:

Cheers,

Jock.

Definitely - External (use in very hot sun too, to keep the van cooler).

External everytime.:thumb::thumb:

We had internals to start with, lots of condensation and nowhere near so warm...

We bought Taylor Made external screens and couple of month back during all that cold weather, fantastic kept it warm inside without condensation, although I would only use the internal ones when wild camping just case a quick getaway is needed.
