Signal Blocked by Overhang (1 Viewer)

Tried to use my Evesham Nav-Cam 7000 in my 73 Minnie-Winnie, but the signal seems to be blocked out by the overhang of the bedroom area above the cab. Can't see any kind of port for an aerial extension. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you overcome it?

For what it's worth I've used 3 GPS receivers in our Luton Burstner, no problems.

Maybe a poor GPS unit.
