Wow we are honoured, you better bring your instruction book, dogs are fine yes there will be others. We are getting together in our own room on New Years Eve so we provide our own food and drink, we will have what people call an American supper or a Jacobs table so basically bring something to eat hot/cold sweet or savoury but don't try to feed everybody (we will have power if you wanted to keep somethong warm) put it down on the big table and when it comes to the time to eat you just dive in and take what you fancy. Bring plates And cutlery and glasses OF COURSE.

If you want to dress in something a bit silly that will be fine but there is no pressure as the only theme is that everybody enjoys themselves and we have FUN.

sure it's all in hand but boy we've had some rain in these parts and with what Janine said about flooding and your curse of saying it's never flooded in the field we are going in, is it all well and good? hate to think Ill need a boat back to my van, I don't row so well when pisssed?

Get all the rain now and it should be OK by the time we get there, I am told that if the river does come up it will be the room that gets flooded not the vans so as long as your supplies are with you and not in the room all should be OK.

I will pack my inflatable canoe just in case though.

Morning all

It doesn't look like Paul has many followers for the Party theme yet, to be honest I thought about going as a "working girl" but after visiting Amsterdam recently and having a walk around the Red light area seeing what they don't wear I fear that I would end up with hypothermia, whats more the chances of getting Jen to dress up even as a pimp never mind a whore is slim non existent.

On a serious note if anybody wants to do fancy dress Paul has proposed a theme BUT there will be some of us who are doing Christmas jumpers and possibly a silly hat or wig and there will certainly be others who do even less, the night belongs to everybody so come as you wish to enjoy the company.
