Well of course its worth £10 and the best £10 you ever spend. :thumb:

This forum is run by a motorhomer, that uses his motorhome and travels all over the UK and Europe attends most rallies and meets and has fun with the members. :thumb:

You will get good advice on here, and there is no need for moderators. We have some great Meets and Rallies and try to please everyone. And when ( Jim the Ringleader ) stands there cooking 300 or so rashes of bacon at a rally for his members on a Sunday morning the last one is cooked with the same passion as the first.

Over the years on the fun site I have seen a few people that have needed help, and the funsters have came to the rescue, :thumb: and at times like that you realise its one big family. :thumb:

Is it worth £10 to be a part of that, only you can decide.:thumb: So come on Bill, we look forward to meeting you at a Rally or Meet in the near future. :thumb: Bob and Jane.

Well I've had a good look around and this seems like a nice place. But I just realised its a subscription site!!!!!!! It looks like 12000 of you have paid your subs making someone a lot of money. Why should I pay? Is it worth it?

£12 A YEAR ???? YOU WILL NOT GET BETTER VALUE AND AS FOR SOME ONE MAKING A LOT OF MONEY JIM THE SITE OWNER IS HARD WORKING AND KEEPS THE SITE GOING ON A LOW BUDGET

Just remember you get one hell of a lot for your £10 apart from the chat and web pages etc.

You get £2 off any of the motorhome shows so thats your money back if you go to all of them.

You can get various discounts - we saved over £200 on our motorhome insurance through motorhome fun thanks to Frank Pickles

So we actually have gained over £200 this year - all for a £10 outlay.

As to the comment about someone making a lot of money, I take the view that if that was the case why not start something similar yourself and see.

Well I would guess after reading that lot Jim (The Great Leader) Will be outting the Subs up to £20 so you should quickly pay, get in early and save a tenner :thumb:

There are only two decent motorhome forums, either will cost you a tenner! I used to buy motorhome magazines at thirty'ish quid a year but realised that I ended up reading old rubbish that I had first heard about or read some weeks previously on MHF

Lyn and I bought our first motorhome in 1988 when I was 27 and we had three young kids. I wasted far more than a tenner even then, joining all the clubs to try to find the priceless sort of information that you get here for free! And I realised that the clubs were usless and didn't (still don't) want to know unless you have a caravan!2

But it is a free world

Having been on this site for a couple of years and have posted a fair number of times as can be seen..almost 2,000 on MHF and over 3,000 on RVOC on the sister site, I can say it would be a rare thing for Jim to remove a post because someone was negative about an issue.

I have seen a few banned.. but even then that is very very few given the large number of posts on both sites... banned for blantant advertising (dealers) or for going to far in a post - Libel situations... but because someone does not agree with a view:Cool: No that does not happen.

We do not have a load of moderators as you will find out as time goes on. We all have the right to hit the panic button if it is a serious issue. But on the whole we play nice on the MHF and RVOC.

I hope we will see some of your posts now you have paid and you will njoin in the fun... but next year think about joining one of the MHF meets at the big shows and see us for real.. great crowd of people best £10 ever.. oh by the way it was £12 when we joined and Jim reduced the fees... not to make money as some think, but to cover the costs. And you have not tried the bacon rolls at the shows yet... great value at £1 .. lost count of the refills I have had.

Have been a member of many forums over the years, quite a few are looking at becoming subscription, the Tinternet aint free and donations are sometimes made by people you dont want donating.
I log on most days,and available to me, is all the help and advice, the fun, interest, and friendship, all for less than 3p per day, now our northern contingent may find that a bit on the steep side, but us affluent southerners pay our staff more than that, so cough up and be enriched..........or move oop north and walk yer whippet for yer entertainment
