Well just had the shortest weekend away in my life. Picked Emily up from school and she waited until we arrived at Waveney River Centre to tell me she had a pain and felt sick!! The sickness started so we have made the decision to come home and it took a little longer than normal, poor kid is so sorry

Poor Emily.

I bet she was really looking forward to the weekend too.

Hope she is feeling better tomorrow, you could always go in the morning:thumb:

About 16 years ago we were heading down to Spain for a couple of months in the sun. We were a couple of hours into the trip, about half way to Dover and our son who was in nappies at the time started screaming in pain and was very distressed He was not hungry and would not eat, a peak into his nappy showed it was clean and dry, all the tricks, over the shoulder, bouncing, singing, nothing would stop the constant crying, something was wrong. In all the excitement and last minute loading we had forgotten that 8 hours previously young James had received an inoculation. We remembered and immediatley assumed he was having a bad reaction to it (he was) and we headed back. No room for disappointment as we were really worried. Well we had not been heading home for long when Sian, who was in the back still trying to comfort young James, decided to strip him off thinking he might be too warm and then she noticed his leg,:whatthe: how we did not see it before I just don't know, the poor little buggers leg had swollen, a reaction to the jab in his thigh, not a bad thing in itself, and it was not too much swelling, but the stupid waterproof elastic nappy things we used back then were acting like a tourniquet:Eeek: Sian removed those, got an instant smile and he was asleep within 5 minutes. We turned around again and just caught our ferry:Smile:

Poor Emily, let's hope she is OK after a nights sleep. :thumb:
