Hi.
Over the years when flushing the cassette with pink added to the rinse, sometimes "Black bits" would appear on the bowl, recently a poster mentioned that the B/bits were caused by the Pink rinse aid. I just wonder if the pink rinse b/bits,plus the build up of calcium may be causing this rough appearance and smell.
I have learned something,we always use Milton ster/tabs and on reading this thread will happily continue, thanks.

I used to get a lot of black bits in the flusher but ever sinse I started using Kampa pink flush i've had no bother at all, even if it stands for while, ive been using it for nearly two years now, recommended by somebody on here:thumb:

Limescale is also a problem and can leave the bowl looking rough .. also inside the cassette

bleach won't help.. soak with white vinegar ..

fill bowl with warm water and a cup of white vinegar and let it soak for a while.. wash and rinse.

One year. A whole one!
Many know I keep a comprehensive cleaning kit in Udo, but I never, ever thought I'd be needing it to clean the flipping crapper!::bigsmile:

So, a few layers of Autoglym, followed by some expensive Autoglym High Definition Wax to add a hard layer and to seal it all in. Then pee with gay abandon and no niffs.

Of all the mad things one does, this really takes the...

Maybe I should photograph this and create a 'Detail Your Toilet' thread...

Autoglym SRP isnt as good as a good GRP polish. I sell this stuff and use it on my toilet as well as the van. It wont discolour or degrade plastics as it has no ammonia in it Broken Link Removed
Dont forget that I will give a 10% Funsters discount if you contact me before buying.

Years ago when everyone had a hard black plastic toilet seat in their bathroom at home, a friend recommended Windolene for polishing the seat and cover.

She'd found out by accident one day when she was cleaning the bathroom window and had knocked the bottle off the inside windowledge and that's where the puddle landed. Of course she wiped it up, and it spread like wildfire so she carried on wiping and to her amazement the whole thing positively glittered by the time she'd got it dry again.

She was right. It worked a treat, even applied sparingly in a dubious fashion at first !

So, would that work on the MH loo bowl ?
