... my Christmas and New Year trip to and around the Algarve has been slightly spoilt by the worst weather they have experienced down here in years and years.

The last couple of days have been grey, windy and very wet.

This morning the police came and warned us (three motorhomes, Me, Juggler Dave and Viv) that the river (just outside Tavira) might flood and recommended that we moved elsewhere...

I blame myself for gloating both inwardly and outwardly about the Uk weather.

Please forgive me... I'm sorry...

(Still it is "tee shirt" warm... whoops, there I go again...)

So SOrry to hear about the BAD weather you are experiencing in the Algarve.

It's so nice here in the UK today, grey, raining and a wonderful 3 degree's. Don't you wish you was back here? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

JJ - It's T Shirt weather here in Newcastle, you just need to wear 4 of them under your Thermal jacket at the moment.
Still think you are in a better place

Dont know what all the fuss is about. Lovely and sunny here in Oxford. low 70s in the shade and just about to light a bbq for some grilled trout I just tickled out of the stream. Might have to put a tee shirt on if the fat starts spitting.

GLOATING-ME!!!!
Not gloating but sat here in shorts and T shirt with a can of San Miguel CELEBRATING after 2 weeks of torrential rain here in Roquetas de Mar south of Almeria (I can actually see the city across the bay for the first time in many days) The wind is strong but blowing from AFRICA so quite warm Hope it lasts for our street party for New Year BUT not holding my breath etc.

any other weather reports from across Spain??:Eeek:

Well we set off on Sunday for a few weeks in Portugal but only got to the end of the road before a warning light came up on the dash, apparently the oil in the auto gearbox was getting too hot, so turned round and the van is now at the Fiat garage awaiting new sensors.:cry::cry: Anyway, it has been lovely and sunny here today so perhaps we are in the best place at the moment.:Smile::Smile:
