Might sound silly as a lot of you will have done it or similar
Follow west coast France down into Spain following coast down Gibraltar over into Morocco following coast
Back up into Spain following med
till around monaco north and follow Rhine up though Germany into holland
Home via hull
Take about 4 to 5 months
Depart new year home by late spring
No more than 1 day running then 2 days rest
I don't even know if numbers stack up its just a dream at moment
As Elaine and I are relative new comers to motorhome life the farthest so far is Dordogne for 2 weeks
but I work in much of Central Europe so the travel side is nearly old hat
but this with a motorhome is all new for us it's the idea of freedom to do what you want and no set plans we like

Fussen in Germany, camping Hopfensee on a lake overlooking the German side of the Tyrol just across the lake on a crisp calm September morning sun rising. Bikes out and cycle into Fussen with a walk up to King Ludwigs castle with stunning views.

When we get our next MH we plan to drive up to the Fjordlands :thumb:

Dream versus reality

The reality is to go up and down Europe in a similar manner to that suggested by Peter above..... which is definitely achievable.

The dream....... crossing Canada from East to West and back again..... I know you can hire one and do it, but my dream would be to do it in MY motorhome, which is of course a bit more complicated (and expensive!).

I am sat here thinking about the things I wanted to do but never did the one thing I regret is not doing Route 66 when I had chance in 1976
But when I think why it's ok cos I got married Instead
Would I do it now no I don't think so its a long way in the saddle and its too commercial and without the lads some of who are no longer with us it wouldn't be the same I did get a tee shirt though when lads came back

My cousin and her husband have just literally arrived in the USA for what is his lifes ambition which is an umpteen thousand mile 8 week tour around the states on motorbikes. He is a member of the ulyses motorcycle club in Australia and meeting up with a couple of the US members to embark on the trip - last i heard ladies were taking an rv sounds great.

Andrew us in his 60's now and wants to get it done while he can, great trip

Cheers
G
